Originally we were known as Network for Fitness Professionals, now we're called Netfit and we specialise in providing fun, confidence building, educational experiences that can lead to a multitude of career opportunities and along the way the personal growth achieved creates a whole new vitality and outlook for each individual.

I'll never forget Netfit's very first national health and fitness convention in 1993... watching 150 people participate in a traditional aerobic class on the top floor of the Ellerslie Convention Centre and the full length windows moving in time to the rhythm of the class.  The building literally shook.  In fact the centre's management came and asked me if we had public liability insurance the building was shaking that much!

But not only was the building feeling the impact, the atmosphere in the room was electric, the noise, the enjoyment, these people were soaking up the experience, the knowledge, the learning, the belonging to a special group... I mean, personal training hadn't even been heard of back then.As I walked from session to session it was the same!

Since 1998, Netfit have led the industry in the initiation of training programs to reflect the world trends and industry needs providing career's in many niche markets: from personal training, to active living programs, to rehabilitation, to sports or to simply getting more out of your own training!

Through our membership program, magazine and resources we keep our members in touch with what's happening in the industry, so once 'out there' they have a base for support and networking.

Through our dedication to lifelong health and fitness, we're about giving people the courage and self-confidence to pursue a lifestyle, a dream, a career, a whole new vitality.  We see it so many times, individuals gaining the confidence from our courses to say 'I can do this...', I want this kind of life, I'm going to do this - it literally changes their lives! Because we believe that you can do anything you want to do - there's no such word as can't!
